Designed, installed and tested a new Cisco VoIP implementation of over 20K phone. Responsible for installing Cisco Call Manager, UCCX, 911 CER and the implementation and testing of the WAN, MAN and LAN facilities for the City of San Diego which includes configuring, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and optimizing all VoIP, voicemail, PBX communication systems, Collaborations tools, Call Center and video conferencing environments. . • Knowledge of data networking including TCIP, UDP, RTP EIGRP, OSPF protocols. • Lead/coordinate new voice infrastructure and applications deployment. • Lead/coordinate voice infrastructure changes and upgrades. • Implement and/or rearrange telecommunications systems to accommodate additional services or changes. • Cisco Video Infrastructure (Telepresence endpoints, VCS-C/E, TMS, Conductor, Webex). • IP Telephony protocols, including SIP, H323, and MGCP. • Cisco Voice gateways, including technologies such as CUBE, PRI, FXO, FXS, and SRST. • Designing and implementing Quality of Service. • Implementing Cisco UCS servers and applicable best practice methodologies for UC on UCS. • Implementing VMware and applicable best practice methodologies for UC on UCS • Assess, approve, and administer all voice hardware and software upgrades/modifications. • Troubleshoot issues that impact the operation of the voice infrastructure and provide resolution. • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with end users regarding existing and new voice requirements
